The Gira DCS mobile app turns smartphones and tablets into mobile indoor stations for the Gira door communication system. Through the DCS-IP gateway, users can access the door intercom system via their mobile device whether they are at home on Wi-Fi or away using a mobile network.
Visitors can be seen and spoken to directly from the app, and the door can be opened remotely in a secure way. Encrypted communication via Gira’s Secure Data Access and additional PIN protection ensure a high level of security when accessing the system from anywhere.
Key functions include:
- Audio and video communication with visitors
- Live camera view of the entrance
- Remote door opening
- Push notifications when the doorbell rings
- Image memory to review previous visitors
- Secure access via PIN or biometric authentication
